Association for Finnish Local and Regional Authorities (Suomen Kuntaliitto)
The Association for Finnish Local and Regional Authorities (Suomen Kuntaliitto) is formed by the towns and municipalities in Finland. The Association's goal is to promote the opportunities for local authorities to operate and cooperate and to promote their vitality for the benefit of the residents.
The Association employs about 300 experts who provide lobbying services, research and development services and other expert services for local authorities. The Commission for Local Authority Employers represents local authorities and promotes their interests in labour market issues.
In the CHAMP project AFLRA will support UBC EnvCom in Capacity Building in Finland and promoting and disseminating experiences and support in the Baltic Sea Region.
