CHAMP project has now reached the midway and is going full speed ahead in all partner countries - Finland, Germany, Hungary and Italy. The objective of CHAMP is to train and support local and subregional authorities in implementing an integrated management system for climate change mitigation and adaptation, and to promote the method and the model Europe-wide.

Within the project, pilot cities in each country have now been selected and national training hubs for managing the Integrated Management System (IMS) trainings for local authorities have been established. The IMS trainings have started in Finland and Italy and the first trainings in Germany and Hungary will be organized soon. You can find more information on the national trainings from the national training hubs’ pages below.

An important part of the project is the Capacity Development Package that is meant to support local authorities in implementing the IMS for climate change mitigation and adaptation. The Capacity Development Package is under preparation and will be published soon.
