Lake Constance Foundation (Bodensee-Stiftung)

The Lake Constance Foundation (Bodensee-Stiftung) is an international foundation for nature and culture founded in 1994 by six regional offices of environmental organizations in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. The purpose of Bodensee-Stiftung is the protection of natural resources and the promotion of sustainable development in the region of Lake Constance – but not only there.
The head office of Bodensee-Stiftung is in Radolfzell, Lake Constance, Germany.
Since 1998 Bodensee-Stiftung is developing all activities under the motto „Zukunftsfähiger Bodensee“ - Sustainable Lake Constance. All projects include concrete activities to demonstrate that sustainable regional development is possible.
Lake Constance Foundation was part of Managing Urban Europe-25 project steering group.
In CHAMP LCF will be responsible for the coordination of developing the trainaing module for third parties, capacity building in Hungary (together with LBDCA) and promoting and dissemination in Eastern Europe.
