There are many success stories from cities in the Baltic Sea Region working with climate mitigation and adaptation that should be shared with others for inspiration and ideas. Still, although action has been taken, the capacities and needs for support differ in the cities of the region. Aiming at improving the capacities of the cities in their local climate policy, the CHAMP regional final conference will take place in connection with the UBC XI General Conference in Liepaja, on 4-7 October 2011:

SUCCESS STORIES OF LOCAL CLIMATE CHANGE WORK IN THE BALTIC SEA REGION
